The knives of the Expedition series offer the same performance, reliability and high quality as all the tactical tools that Extrema Ratio provides to military and law enforcement special forces.
Selvans Expeditions, as well as the Selvans model from which it derives, was born from the collaboration between Extrema Ratio and the Master Advanced instructor Daniele Dal Canto. This tool is the result of the modification of the ONTOS, a military survival knife, made in order to accentuate and maximize the performance of the knife.
Selvans Expedition uses Böhler N690 steel heat-treated to 58 HRC with MIL-C-13924 burnishing and stone-washed surface treatment (Dark Stone finish).
The handle has been lengthened and the blade weighted to facilitate the effectiveness of cutting strokes. It comes with a desert cordura sheath with MOLLE system, equipped with a mini pouch containing paracord cord with flammable filament that can be used in case of emergency and/or critical weather conditions and a Firesteel for lighting fires.
