The RAO C in an Outdoor key - RAO C Outdoor is a compact, robust folding knife, derived from the iconic RAO II, reinterpreted for outdoor use. It maintains the construction philosophy of the RAO C series: maximum structural solidity in a more portable format, with high handling and control. Blade and structure - The Böhler N690 steel blade hardened to 58 HRC maintains the characteristics of oxidation resistance, edge stability and ease of maintenance that make it ideal for a professional outdoor knife.
The Outdoor stone washed finish is chosen for heavy-duty use: less sensitive to marks, easier to maintain, more tolerant of dirt and humidity. The grip construction combines anodized aluminum scales with a Cerakote finish and dual steel frames, increasing overall rigidity and heavy-duty strength.
Locking and security system - RAO C Outdoor adopts a particularly robust locking system. The closing mechanism is supported by a primary and a secondary safety, which stabilize the blade when opening, transforming the behavior of the knife into that of a tool similar to a fixed blade.
