Commissioned by the renowned 9th Parachute Assault Regiment ‘Col Moschin’ of the Italian Special Forces, which officially adopted it in 2002, this is the quintessential combat knife. It is a contemporary reinterpretation of the daggers equipped by the Arditi – the historical units that inspired the 9th Regiment – which featured asymmetrical blades and straight but direction-sensitive handles. Designed to be light and handy, it is decidedly balanced toward the handle and has a highly perforating tip. Each new ‘Incursore’ (assault paratrooper) is given this knife and trained to use it at its finest.
