Steel - 1.4116, X50CrMoV15 - molybdenum-vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a rather high, for stainless steels, hardness. Resistant to corrosion in kitchen conditions. It is a recommendable alternative to 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13 material. The chemical composition was enriched with Chromium content, Molybdenum addition and Vanadium.
Head - Extremely sharp with a shape Drop Point ideal for all kinds of field work. Covered with anti-glare black PTFE coating, smooth blade Plain derived concave cut (Hollow Grind), which reduces weight and guarantees excellent cutting properties. Large notch facilitates sharpening. On the back of the blade is a notched finger ramp (jimping) to increase control of the knife.
Handle - Made of black micarta (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin). Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip. The covers have been bolted directly to the tango, making the whole structure very rigid and sturdy. Contoured handle provides good control of the knife. In the back there is a lanyard hole, a hole for a safety or decorative cord.
