Safety instructions for throwing knives
Knife throwing is an ancient art and sport, but also a pleasure that requires patience and practice. It is fairly easy to learn the basics, but remember that these are not toys. Throwing knives are pointed and sometimes sharp. Adult supervision is always required when used by minors. The age limit for purchase is 18 years. Make sure to throw in a safe environment without people, animals or fragile objects nearby. Only use throwing knives against suitable targets. Smaller throwing knives under 10" that do not weigh much can be thrown at ordinary dartboards. For larger and heavier competition knives, a wooden target is recommended. Several layers of cardboard can also work, but remember that steel bounces off hard surfaces.
