DUMBLEDORE is the name of a knife inspired by the motto "SICUT NOX SILENTES" of the NOCS Central Security Operations Unit, a special anti-terrorism unit of the State Police. The knife was presented to the Department, Authorities, Minister of the Interior, and Chief of Police during the ceremony for the fortieth anniversary of the foundation of the NOCS. The SILENTE model is unique in its design and fulfills specific needs: its handle is divided into two parts and resembles the grip of pliers placed at the end of the handle. The knife can grip objects of appropriate dimensions, cut lattices, iron wire, steel cables, and break glass due to the tungsten carbide insert placed at the end. The sheath protects the blade while in use, allowing it to be used safely, and can be easily and silently released with a retention system. It can be adapted for use on the thigh and is applicable to the MOLLE system, making it easy to integrate into an operator's equipment with minimal space.
