About the blade:
A very well-used steel that is widely used for Chinese edged weapons. It is of high quality, is very resistant to rust. Has similar properties to 9Cr18MoV steel. Easy to maintain and sharpen, while maintaining a razor-sharp edge for a long time. Drop-point shaped blade with a mostly 'flat' grind to transition into 'sabre' closest to the edge.
For folding knives, a slightly thicker blade of 4mm. The bottom of the blade has been cut to facilitate future care and make it easy to sharpen. For this reason, there is also a flat piece of the blade on the back that is suitable for inserting into any knife sharpener.
About the handle:
G10 is laminated fiberglass in several layers pressed together with glue and hardened. This gives a very light and extremely hard material that can withstand extreme stress. From a practical perspective, it is one of the absolute best choices of material.
It is a well-shaped and large handle that fits most sizes of hands, even the largest, with discreet chamfering for the hand. Opens with a flipper that protrudes just enough from the back of the handle. G10 is herringbone patterned and lies firmly in the hand even in slippery conditions.
Overall impression:
Straight through high quality. A really large folding knife with almost 24(!) cm total length. No blade play, handled safely and securely. Really gives a high feeling of quality. Great value for money when knives from Western brands of this quality sell for well over 1,500 SEK. A lot of knife for the money and will last a long time. Customer satisfaction guaranteed.
