Garberg Grand BlackBlade (C) is a large bushcraft knife with a full-tang blade made of carbon steel with a black DLC coating. It's developed for advanced bushcraft and tough wilderness use, where the longer blade adds strength for heavy-duty work like felling small trees.
Robust survival knife with a longer full-tang blade - Garberg Grand BlackBlade (C) is a large bushcraft knife featuring a 142 mm long and 3.2 mm thick blade in carbon steel. The black DLC coating reduces reflection and provides some protection against corrosion. The full-tang blade is well-balanced and extends through the handle, with an exposed rear tang for batoning, scraping, or striking a fire starter. The ground spine is ferro rod compatible, and the knife comes with a leather sheath.
Powerful build for felling small trees - The extended blade makes Garberg Grand BlackBlade (C) strong enough to fell small trees. It handles demanding tasks such as splitting wood, carving, cutting branches, and building shelter. A reliable survival tool for bushcraft and wilderness expeditions.
Secure grip in all conditions - The dark brown handle is ergonomically shaped with a Dala-pattern friction grip and finger guard, ensuring a firm grip in any weather. The knife comes with a vegetable-tanned European leather sheath in matching brown, equipped with a practical belt loop.
Carbon steel with Scandi grind - The 3.2 mm thick blade is made of German carbon steel (C100S), hardened to 57.5 HRC. The steel is easy to resharpen but requires regular maintenance. The DLC coating adds corrosion protection, but the blade should always be wiped down and oiled after use.
