Wetterhall is a double bit axe that is perfect for throwing competitions among enthusiasts.
This kind of double bit axe was orginally used by lumberjacks, who benefitted from the possibility of always having a sharp axe around. While using one edge for rouggh work, they could be more careful with the other. The axe is hand forged and made from Swedish quality steel. As part of the head-forging process, the steel axe head is struck 40-60 times, thereby increasing its density and resulting in great durability. This axe is named after Hults Bruk enthusiast Bo Wetterhall, the person who served at Hults Bruk longer than anyonoe else.
