Expedition series is the new range of tools dedicated to exploration professionals.
The Expedition series knives offer the same performance, reliability and high quality as all the tactical tools that Extrema Ratio supplies to military and law enforcement special forces.
Satre Expeditions, like the Satre model from which it derives, is a small, lightweight and extremely resistant fixed blade knife. Given its characteristics, it is used in a wide range of disciplines and uses or as an element of an EDC (Every Day Carry) kit.
It was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced instructor. In Neck Knife mode, using a 550 paracord lanyard, it is possible to keep it around the neck by keeping the knife vertical with the handle facing downwards.
The metal eyelets on the sheath made of pre-shaped Kydex allow the application of both the lanyard and the accessory holder. The ULTICLIP system is available as an optional on www.extremaratio.com which allows you to attach the sheath not only to the belt, but also to pockets, trousers, jackets, shirts and t-shirts.
ULTICLIP makes it possible to position the knife both horizontally and vertically, making it usable by both left-handed and right-handed people.
The full-tang skeletonized structure allows you to customize the knife by using Paracord as a covering for the handle.
Satre Expedition uses Böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC with MIL-C-13924 bluing and stone washed surface treatment (Dark Stone finish). It is supplied with a desert-coloured pre-shaped kydex sheath onto which it is possible to attach the Firesteel for lighting fires (supplied inside the box).
