The Tactical Tomahawk 2 is a modern interpretation of the tool that combines the traditional form from pioneer days with state-of-the art materials. The head, made of hard-wearing 1065 carbon steel, is joined to a light, impact-resistant polymer handle. This means that the tomahawk’s weight of some 600 g is clearly concentrated in the head, making it especially effective for chopping. For safe handling the handle has a rough texture, and a lanyard can be attached as an option. The Tactical Tomahawk 2 is carried with the handle forwards in a robust nylon holster for safety.
